I purchased the CMS data transfer kit. I follow the instructions and my computer will not run or recognize the software disc. Bring up on my computer and it shows the disc as a CD-R but will not open it or auto run. Yes, I do have windows XP.

The following link will direct you to our Contact Us web page where you can send us a direct email with the information that we are requesting below.

1. Your purchase invoice / order number.
2. The part number of the Data Transfer installation CD that you received.

If the CD is defective our Sales department will provide you with a download link to the Data Transfer software in order to get you started with the Transfer process and they can also send you a replacement CD.

I Purchased the BounceBack USB 3 Backup and Recovery System (500GB High Performance BounceBack Drive). I am running Windows Pro 7, SP 1 on a Toshiba Satellite A660. I have 3 USB slots and tried the drive in all 3. The drivers installed successfully on one slot, but now the computer will not recognize the drive or the CD.

Did you initially install the software using the installation CD or from the software package that is preinstalled on the CMS hard drive?

Do you have any USB 2.0 ports on your computer or E-SATA / USB ports? If so, can you connect this drive to one of those ports to help us verify if the external hard drive is detected?

Does your computer have an issue auto starting from the CD or it simply does not detect it when you insert it in your computer?
